Ram Charan kicked off 2025 with a bang with the release of his most recent pan-India film, diversion Changer. Directed by ace filmmaker Shankar, Game Changer hit the theatres worldwide on Friday. The film took the box office by storm with a terrific opening and super-positive reports. Game Changer had a spectacular opening, earning a World Net Box Office Collection (GBOC) of over Rs 186 crore on its first day, according to the makers. According to SaikNilak, the film earned Rs 51.25 crore in India on its opening day. However, the film lagged behind Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer RRR, which earned Rs 133 crore on its first day. The film’s success extended beyond the Telugu states and hit the North Indian circuit and global markets. With this terrific opening, the entertainer Changer is all set to keep its energy going throughout the auspicious occasion of Sankranti. Ram Charan has solidified his pan-India fame with this blockbuster hit.
Game Changer India Collection Report: Day 1
According to reports, Entertainment Changer earned Rs 42 crore in Telugu, Rs 2.1 crore in Tamil and Rs 7 crore in Hindi. The film earned Rs 10 lakh in Kannada and Rs 3 lakh in Malayalam. The viewership was reported to be amazing, with 51.32% for the morning show, 39.33% for the evening show and 50.53% for the evening show of the Telugu version. According to The Indian Express, the evening show viewership of the 4DX version of Hindi had a viewership of 82%. Game Changer is about a serious confrontation between a principled IAS officer and a corrupt MLA. Ram Charan has given a brilliant performance in the role of honest IAS officer Smash Nandan and a dedicated social reformer Appanna. With its release coinciding with Sankranti, Entertainment Changer was expected to do well, however it remains to be seen how the film performs over the weekend. This will also be the first big screen encounter for fans since the release of Pushpa: Run The Show, which has been in theaters for over a month now. The entertainment game changer is expected to handle its business. Director Shankar has made a grand comeback with an outwardly engaging political show. His brilliant vision is sponsored by producers Dil Raju and Sirish, who have made the film on a grand scale under the standards of Sri Venkateswara Manifesto, Dil Raju Preparations and Zee Studios. The cast of Game Changer including Kiara Advani, Anjali, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Samuthirakani and Jayaram received praise from the audience.
