Evan Blass, a well-known smartphone leakster, has shared a screenshot of an internal email from Nothing CEO Carl Pei to X-Post. It is addressed to employees, outlining the company’s planned plans for 2025, with a special focus on the upcoming Nothing Phone (3). It is called ‘an interesting smartphone launch that the world will be extremely excited to see.’
In the email, Pei referred to 2025 as Nothing’s “biggest year yet,” revealing plans to launch the Nothing Phone (3) in the first quarter of the year. The gadget will include ‘groundbreaking developments in the customer interface’, which could help the brand establish the Phone (3) as an AI-centric smartphone like the latest iPhones and Samsung World devices.
AI features in Nothing Phone 3:-
While Nothing has introduced some AI features, such as background generator on gadgets like the Phone (2a), the upcoming Phone (3) is expected to offer a comprehensive AI-powered experience. According to Pei, the Phone (3) ‘redefines the client involvement of a personal computing device’ and will include ‘technology that knows you, simplifies your life, and is there wherever you are.’
The email also states that the Phone (3) will feature AI that will enable it to receive and react to settings, acting as an assistant. In addition, the smartphone will use AI to improve security and advance client data protection.
Nothing Phone 3 Camera:-
While the email does not reveal specific highlights or details, other leaks suggest that the gadget will likely have a Snapdragon 8 arrangement chip, possibly the 8 Generation 3 or the upcoming 8s Generation 3. Moreover, the Phone (3) could mark Nothing’s bigger presence in promoting dedicated fax cameras.
Nothing had a successful year in 2024, launching a few mid-range smartphones like the Phone (2a), Phone (2a) and CMF Phone (1) that gained fame in their segments. However, there were no items launched in the premium segment this year, and the company could finally bridge that gap with the Nothing Phone (3).
